At PostNQuote.com we not only by law have to protect our user’s privacy, but in order for our site to succeed we strongly believe in, and take multiple measure for protecting our user’s private information. We collect, use, and share personal information to help the Post N’ Quote.com website (“PostNQuote.com”, “PostandQuote.com”) and to keep it safe for all that use our website’s services (details below). These terms define the “user” as anyone or any party that can “POST” jobs on PostNQuote.com, the “business” as anyone or any party that is registered with us and can “QUOTE” our user’s posted job(s) and our “customer” when we talk about both “user” and “business” at the same time.

1. Collection of Private Information

We only collect, store or use information that we consider necessary for the purpose of providing the best service possible to all of our customers.

(1.1) - Collection of your business information

You are free to browse our site without providing any personal information to us. If you wish to tender for any jobs featured on our website, you must register and provide us certain details. We collect and store all the information you provide to us when you register. In the event that you do tender for a job featured on the site, we collect the details of your quote.

We also may collect:

• Your financial information;
• Computer sign-on data, statistics on page views, traffic to and from PostNQuote.com, and ad data (all through cookies – you can take steps to disable the cookies on your browser although this may affect your ability to use the site);
• Other information, including users IP address and standard web log information.

(1.2) - Collection of our user’s information

In the event that you place a job online at PostNQuote.com, we collect and store the information (i.e. title, description, city, postcode, email address, name) you provide us about your job. We collect and store the comments and ratings you place on business members of the PostNQuote.com community.

We also may collect:

• Computer sign-on data, statistics on page views, traffic to and from PostNQuote.com, and ad data (all through cookies – you can take steps to disable the cookies on your browser although this may affect your ability to use the site);
• Other information, including users IP address and standard web log information.

2. Our use of your information

(2.1) - Our use of your business Information

We check the accuracy of the business information that you provide on registration. We may use the contact information you provided to contact you regarding your registration, or any other matter that we consider relevant to your use of our site. We may contact the references that you provide during registration, to assure your reputation. We may use any information we collect about you, including any information we may have obtained from your activities on the Site, to resolve disputes, provide customer support, troubleshoot problems and enforce our Terms and Conditions of use of our site and our policies. We may look across multiple users to identify problems or resolve disputes. In the event that fees remain unpaid (60 days passed due) on your business account, we may pass your business information to a credit recovery company.

We also may use your information to:

• communicate marketing and promotional offers to you

(2.2) - Our use of our user’s Information

In the event that you “POST” a job online with us, we display the information you have given to us about your job to business’, and other users who browse the jobs on our website. In addition businesses that have registered will be able to tender for the work by contacting you (through the contact information you have provided) via the site.

We also may use your information to:

• better provide our services
• resolve disputes, and troubleshoot problems;
• encourage safety and enforce our policies;
• customize users’ experience, measure interest in our services, and inform users about services and updates;
• communicate marketing and promotional offers to you;

3. Sharing Your Information

As a matter of policy, we do not share, sell, trade or give away your personal information other than is described in this privacy policy.

(3.1) - Sharing of your business Information

We may pass some (Business Name, Business Description, Contact Name, Contact Telephone, Contact Email, Reference details, tender subject and content) information to those users on whose job you tender. In addition, any comments we have collected from other users about your business will also be made available to the user in question.

(3.2) - Sharing of our user’s Information

Various parts of the information you provide to us when POSTING a job on our site is shared with all those people that browse the jobs on our website. Your name, email address and any password(s) you selected will not be shared with all users. If a business tenders for your job, you will be contacted (with tender information) to the contact information you provided while creating the job ad.

(3.3) - Other sharing of Information Disclosure for legal reasons:

We may disclose your personal data if we are either compelled to do so by law, or in response to a valid, legally compliant request by a law enforcement or governmental authority. We cannot ensure that all of your communications with Postnquote.com and other personally identifiable information will never be disclosed in ways not otherwise described in this Privacy Policy. For example, third parties may unlawfully intercept or access transmissions or private communications, or users may abuse or misuse your information that they collect from the Site. Therefore, we do not guarantee, and you should not expect, that your personally identifiable information or communications with Postnquote.com will always remain private. We may also disclose aggregated demographic and profile data (in which neither you nor any other individual is identified) to our commercial and marketing partners. If all of the assets which we use to operate our business (or substantially all of them) are acquired by a third party, we may transfer personal data we then hold to that party. In the unlikely event that an insolvency practitioner (such as a liquidator) is appointed in respect of our business, that practitioner may sell, trade or rent personal data we then hold.

Your personal information is stored on our servers and backup third party servers, which are protected both physically and electronically, in the form of a "firewall". Please remember however that there is no such thing a perfect security on the internet.

5. Changing your Information

If you wish to know, modify or delete the personal information we hold about your business, please email privacy@postnquote.com and instruct our privacy department on your issue Please note, there may be a charge associated with such requests but these will not exceed the amounts permitted by law. When else do we change your information? We delete personal/business information when we no longer need it for the purposes we described above. We retain personal/business information as permitted by law to resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

(5.2) - Changing your user/job Information

If you wish to change the details of your job, please email customerservice@postnquote.com and reference your job number and we will have it changed for you. If you wish to know, modify or delete the personal information we hold about you, please email privacy@postnquote.com and instruct our privacy department on your issue. Please note, we do not guarantee turnaround time in this department, although we will try to have your privacy matter resolved within 2 business days. When else do we change your information? We delete personal information when we no longer need it for the purposes we described above. We retain personal information as permitted by law to resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.

6. General Information for all of our customers

This document only addresses the use and disclosure of information we collect from you. In the event that you provide your information to other parties, whether they are businesses, job owners or other sites throughout the Internet, different rules may apply to their use or disclosure of the information you disclose to them. All third party advertisers and business’ that you may find on PostNQuote.com have to their own privacy policies. PostNQuote.com does not control the privacy policies of third parties and thus, you are subject to the privacy policies of that third party. We may update this policy at any time, with updates taking effect when you next post or after 30 days, whichever is sooner. If we or our corporate affiliates are involved in a merger or acquisition, we may share personal information with another company, but this policy will continue to apply.
